Emily Kinney Brings "Heartfelt, Emotional Indie Rock" (Rolling Stone) to Thirty Cities this Spring

"Incredible dramatic actress and pop star" (Entertainment Weekly) Emily Kinney will hit the road for her first national tour in support of her upcoming full length release 'This is War,' and recent single "Rockstar." Fresh from The Walking Dead, Kinney will bring her "killer vocals" (Metro NY) on a 31 stop east and west coast tour with her four piece band - visiting new cities, as well as some of her regular stomping grounds like Eddie's Attic in Decatur, GA.

Fans of Kinney’s 2014 ‘Expired Love’ EP know her for her “heartfelt, emotional indie rock” (Rolling Stone) and songs that accurately depict the roller coaster experience of falling in - or out - of love with an immersive level of relatability. With highly personal songwriting and an “honest style of singing” (Newark Star-Ledger), Kinney doesn't shy away from naming real names and details about the people involved in her songs, making her lyrics feel like they’ve leapt from the pages of her diary. Kinney’s “melodic, quirky, and confessional pop" (Asbury Park Press) has earned her comparison to Regina Spektor and Ingrid Michaelson, and is the reason that PopCrush proclaims "[Kinney] is ready to make her official foray into the music world."
