Evans Drumheads Welcomes Rising Star Anika Nilles To The Artist Family

Evans Drumheads is proud to announce that Anika Nilles is one of their newest artists. Anika is a talented drummer and composer from Germany that has exploded on social media, garnering millions of views for her performance videos of her original works of pop, rock, fusion and beyond. In addition, Anika has a busy international clinic tour schedule with notable upcoming presentations at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) in San Antonio, TX and the London Drum Show this November.

Anika released her debut EP 'Alter Ego' in 2014, and has formed a new band called Nevell. She plans to release her full-length debut in 2016. She's also a writer for professional drum journals in the UK and Germany.

Anika credits Evans for helping her to find her sound - using the drums as both a rhythmic and melodic instrument.

"The first time I saw Anika perform I could not believe my eyes and knew that we had to work with her. She's an incredible young talent and we're thrilled that she's representing Evans." - Marco Soccoli, Director of Artist Relations
