Flo Morrissey Releases Haunting Video For "Pages Of Gold" From Forthcoming Glassnote Debut

Flo Morrissey releases the video for her debut single, "Pages of Gold" today via the UK's The Line of Best Fit: 

The 20-year-old Londoner will release her debut album this summer via Glassnote Records, with more details to be shared soon. Morrissey is currently touring with Ibeyi in the US and will open for Tobias Jesso Jr. in the UK this May.

Flo Morrissey's voice and her songwriting possess a timeless, ethereal quality coupled with the weight of an old soul. It's a rare combination, one that calls to mind the work of Karen Dalton or Joanna Newsom, and that marks her out as a distinct and remarkable talent. Signed to Glassnote Records last year, Morrissey has since spent time recording with Noah Georgeson (Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom, Cate Le Bon) in Los Angeles and with Philippe Zdar (Phoenix, Cassius) in Paris. While recording, Flo impressed audiences with select performances at Green Man and Wilderness Festivals, and opening for Damon Albarn at Les InRocks festival in Paris.
