Last month Floating Points returned with his first new music since the release of Promises, last year’s celebrated album composed by Shepherd and recorded alongside Pharoah Sanders & the London Symphony Orchestra, which topped end of year lists everywhere including #1 spots from The Guardian (Contemporary), The New York Times (Jazz), Mojo, TIME Magazine, and more. The new track, “Vocoder,” was met with widespread praise including a Best New Track from Pitchfork and a Playlist review from the New York Times, describing the song as “a bona fide dance-floor banger sparking with hard-driving, kinetic energy." Today's release of “Grammar” continues this unstoppable and unpredictable run from one of the world’s most exciting producers.

Floating Points will also return to the U.S. this month for sets at Coachella (April 16 and 23), Las Vegas April 14 with Flume, and in NYC at Forest Hills Stadium on September 23 with Jamie XX and Four Tet. See below for the full itinerary.
