Thursday, June 5 - Ukrainian frontman Eugene Hütz of the international punk band Gogol Bordello is kicking off a chaotic, celebratory summer with his label Casa Gogol - releasing today the genre-hopping Punk Summer 2025 - Casa Gogol All Stars + Favs, as well as new music videos for Crazy & The Brains’ cover of Teddybears ft. Iggy Pop’s “Punk Rocker” (Freak Mods and Hütz Remix) & Mary Shelley’s “The Great Curve” (Talking Heads) from NYContinuity Vol.1, ahead of the band’s Union Pool show in Brooklyn tomorrow, June 6. The playlist also features Puzzled Panther channeling Television and Lydia Lunch on“Fractured,” from their upcoming EP Fits of Serenity out July 15. Fronted by punk grrrl duo Victoria Espinoza and Kay Bon Tempo, the band is fresh off SPIN’s Lipps Service Live Festival last night with Casa Gogol labelmate Grace Bergere, who is also opening for The Yeah Yeah Yeahs at New York’s Beacon Theatre on July 31. Both artists will join Gogol Bordello’s July California tour, stopping by Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach, with Puzzled Panther and Pons playing Celebrate Brooklyn! with Gogol Bordello on August 2, as well. Casa Gogol’s newest addition is Agnostic Front’s lead guitarist Vinnie Stigma, whose upcoming Americana album The Outlaw Vinnie Stigma, out June 11, features the single “Already Dead” (a Rancid cover with Eugene Hütz and Sergey Ryabtsev). The release will be celebrated with four special June shows in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. - featuring special guests from Michael Imperioli’s band ZOPA and Walter Schreifels (Quicksand, Gorilla Biscuits) to Gogol Bordello’s Eugene Hütz, Sergey Ryabtsev, and more. Hütz’s sharp instinct for tastemaking and community-building has earned him recognition not only as the electrifying frontman of Gogol Bordello but also as a trusted DJ, collaborator, producer, and festival curator at events like Bonnaroo. It was a natural evolution for Casa Gogol to grow into Hütz’s own imprint label, focusing on joint releases and collaborations with the likes of Primus, Jello Biafra, and beyond.

ABOUT EUGENE HÜTZ / GOGOL BORDELLO
Eugene Hütz is a Ukrainian-born artist, songwriter, and frontman of the International punk band Gogol Bordello – a rare musical force raucously illuminating stages alongside System of a Down, Rancid, and Dropkick Murphys, dueting with Regina Spektor and cutting albums with Rick Rubin & Steve Albini. A lifelong lover of the punk scene growing up in Ukraine, Hütz found himself where he felt he belonged, in New York’s Lower East Side in the late 90s, where he went to shows and later performed at the legendary CBGB. Crashing at friends’ apartments and playing acoustic sets in NYC Ukrainian bars, his group steadily grew to an 8-piece multicultural band, combining Eastern, Western, and Latin traditions. Hütz is a tireless advocate for Ukrainian solidarity, partnering with Nova Ukraine and ArtDopomoga, as well as putting together benefits with Patti Smith, The Hold Steady, Suzanne Vega, Magnetic Fields, Matisyahu, and more. Hütz has also appeared in arthouse films such as Liev Schreiber’s Everything Is Illuminated with Elijah Wood, Filth and Wisdom helmed by Madonna, and last year’s Vice documentary Scream of My Blood: A Gogol Bordello Story (Executive Producer Liev Schreiber).
