Tuesday, July 16 (Burlington, VT) - 2X Grammy nominee and Vermont native, Grace Potter, has announced that this year’s Grand Point North Concert Series in Burlington will now serve as a benefit for Vermont flood relief through her newly launched Grand Point Foundation. 

Proceeds from Potter’s sets on July 27th and 28th will directly benefit local Vermonters as they continue to assess and rebuild following the region’s devastating floods. There will also be a silent auction during the festival to raise additional funds. You can also make donations online HERE.

The four-day music and culture festival will take place at Burlington’s Waterfront Park on July 25-28. 

In addition to two headlining sets from Potter herself, the festival will also feature The Flaming Lips and The Head and The Heart, as well as sets from Michael Marcagi, and Anderson East. You can buy tickets HERE.

Grand Point North has a storied history in art curation and cultivation for the local Vermont community. Potter’s desire to expand on that community effort is the root of her Grand Point Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to supporting the arts in Vermont. The foundation supports existing nonprofit and community organizations that are focused on arts education and cultural programming. In addition, GPF will award one creation stipend to a Vermont artist each year to support their vision in ‘keeping Vermont weird.’ 

Potter has always been committed to supporting the local Vermont community. Last summer, she hosted a livestream to raise funds to uplift people after similar catastrophic flooding. The fundraiser raised over $20,000 for The Vermont Community Foundation’s VT Flood Response and Recovery Fund.
