Guster kicks off their US tour in January, celebrating the release of their new album 'Evermotion' (out Jan. 13, 2015 on Nettwerk/Ocho Mule). Supported by a strong community of fans cultivated through their vibrant, relentlessly charming live show, Guster have been praised by the Boston Globe for a performance that "offers both contours and depth, [weaving] a little melancholy and a little dry humor into songs echoing the dreamy escapism of the Beatles and Beach Boys" and by the Washington Post, who hailed them as "a reliably unique and engaging live band," adding, "No one can say these guys don't put on a show." The band will perform at an intimate sold-out Grammy Museum event in LA this month ahead of the winter tour supported by multi-instrumentalist Kishi Bashi. Listen to three new songs off the album including single "Simple Machine," praised by TIME for its "frantic beats and crawling synthesizers," and the breezy, brass-infused "Never Coming Down" via The Tonight show w/ Jimmy Fallon HERE

Guster's seventh studio album 'Evermotion' is produced by Richard Swift, keyboardist for The Shins and touring bassist for The Black Keys, and features trombone and saxophone accompaniment from Jon Natchez, who NPR called "indie rock's most valuable sideman" for his work with The War on Drugs, Beirut, Passion Pit and others. That sense of experimentation is echoed by the album cover, designed by innovative artist-scientist Fabian Oefner, who used ferrofluid and watercolors to create 'Evermotion''s psychedelic artwork.
