Hannah Dasher was born to entertain, and she proves it on 'The Half Record,' a compilation of five songs that showcase her unfiltered lyrical honesty, strong, non-conforming swagger, and the head-bobbing jams that have earned her the nickname “Hannah Damn Dasher.”

'The Half Record’ is Dasher’s Sony Music Nashville debut and is out today (7.9). Listen here: hd.lnk.to/THR

“There’s a cutting edge to her voice that recalls ’90s Lorrie Morgan records, though Dasher sounds more Southern and uses a tougher instrumental palette,” says Billboard. On 'The Half Record,’ Dasher channels Morgan as well as inspirations like Hank Jr. and Aretha Franklin, adding a fresh spin to the 90s country cassettes of her childhood — topped with a dash of Soul and Rock N’ Roll influences.

“It feels like my fans and I have been waiting a lifetime for this half record, but I’m ready and I’m grateful ‘cause this is just a taste of what’s to come,” says Dasher.

Here's what critics are saying:

"Georgia badass" -- Rolling Stone

“her voice has just the right amount of leather and lace" -- Billboard

"transcendent nature... evolved sonic bits" -- American Songwriter

“we are listening to a future star”-- Music Row

"sharp lyrics" -- Sounds Like Nashville

Dasher’s Stand By Your Pan TikTok show has amassed more than 1.2 million followers and more than 14 million likes on the platform. She acquired recognition as “TikTok’s Minnie Pearl” (The New York Times’ Popcast), and she recently partnered with Fritos for the #FritosFromHome campaign alongside celeb chef Jordan Andino.
