Henry Jamison Joins Big Thief's Adrianne Lenker, Darlingside On Tour
After extensive North American and European tours, Jamison Reunites with Lenker this March
After supporting Big Thief in 2017, "visionary" (Ladygunn) Vermont folk singer Henry Jamison links up with Adrianne Lenker once again for 5 solo shows this March, before hitting the road with Darlingside and Caroline Rose. Henry plays tracks from debut album 'The Wilds' that juxtapose his intimate Nick Drake-by-way-of-James Blake sound with narrative, metaphorically-driven lyrics "written like the Great American novel" (Billboard). Having toured through much of 2017, Henry's honed an emotionally resonant and dry-witted live show that adds new, unexpected sonic layers to LP tracks like the "stunning" (UpRoxx) "The Last Time I Saw Adrianne," an ode to his friendship with Lenker.

Before even releasing 'The Wilds,' Henry accrued more than 30M Spotify streams and gained wide attention for his sharp, literary songwriting inspired by a familial lineage that includes an English professor, one of the most popular songwriters of the Civil War era, and the 14th Century British poet John Gower (a friend of Chaucer's). He's been lauded by the likes of Vice NOISEY, World Café, American Songwriter, and more, and The Guardian called 'The Wilds,' "that rare thing: an unshowy, literate gem ... that carves out a niche all its own."
Henry recently wrapped an American tour with orchestral-pop duo Gracie and Rachel, and a European tour with Irish singer-songwriter Rosie Carney, and he tours the Northeast with Lenker before runs with indie folk quartet Darlingside and singer-songwriter Caroline Rose this spring.
