Today, Hether releases his debut album, Holy Water, coalescing a storied young life, unbelievable history of collaborations, and an enduring love of 1960s jazz into an 18-song odyssey that reveals deeper pockets of subtleties and intricacies with every listen. Written, produced, mixed and engineered by Paul Castelluzzo, aka Hether, the album exists within an enveloping world that he created and now seemingly everyone wants to live in – from Clairo, Dominic Fike and Remi Wolf to Paul McCartney, Anderson .Paak, Benny Blanco, Britney Spears Justin Bieber, Kali Uchis, Kenny Beats, Mac Miller, Rick Ross, Vince Staples and more who have all tapped into his talents and signature sound.
But with Holy Water, Hether arrives in full form: combining impeccable arrangements with confessional lyrics that will build and break one's heart, layering strings and harmonies as he floats towards higher states of desire, karma and spirituality, weaving virtuosic and deceptively gentle guitar leads into unshakable grooves of drums and bass. Preceded by singles including "Falling For The Feeling," "Company" (with Orion Sun) and "Stupid Love," co-written with Remi Wolf, and accompanied by videos for "Images of Love" and a stunning live performance of "Monica," Holy Water marks both the culmination of everything Castelluzzo has experienced and accomplished, and an expansive new evolution of a project that has shaped the present and predicted the future…but remains entirely his own.

Before becoming Hether, Paul Castelluzzo was a teenager surfing the beaches of San Diego and playing bars with local jazz greats. Then he was in Los Angeles with Rodney Jerkins, performing on tracks for Spears and Bieber while driving for Lyft and music-directing a Russian Pentecostal church. While he recently played festivals as part of Dominic Fike's band, he will headline a special pair of Holy Water release shows at LA's Lodge Room on November 5th, and NYC's Music Hall of Williamsburg on November 12th.
Find tickets HERE, and dive deeper into Holy Water’s inspirations through new covers of Barney Kessel, Erik Satie, John Lewis, John Lennon, Les Paul and Donovan that Hether recently posted and self-produced.
