Hill Country DC's Backyard Barbecue Music Lineup

On May 1, Hill Country Barbecue Market DC kicks off their second annual Backyard Barbecue on the West Lawn of the National Building Museum, their summer outdoor space featuring award-winning Texas-style barbecue, ice-cold Shiner beers, and a summer full of live roots music.

Appalachian roots rock ensemble, The Floorboards, will kick off the season on Thursday, May 1, followed by Swampcandy on Friday, May 2 and The Ghost of Paul Revere on Saturday, May 3. Other artists scheduled to perform on the Hill Country Live stage on the lawn this summer include: Shonna Tucker & Eye Candy (former longtime member of the Drive-By Truckers) on Thursday, May 8; Big Leg Emma + Chuck Adams on Friday, May 16; Girls Guns & Glory + Sarah Borges on Thursday, May 29; House of Hats out of Brighton, UK on Friday, June 20; and Joe Firstman (the former bandleader of Last Call with Carson Daly) on Saturday, July 19. Current lineup below (more artists to be added soon).

Hill Country’s Backyard Barbecue will operate Thursday through Saturday from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. All bands start at 5:30pm.
