Created by Red Light Management’s Jonathan Shank, the Homeward Bound benefit show was born out of the need to raise awareness & much-needed funding for the homeless community in California. All proceeds from this special night will benefit PATH(People Assisting The Homeless), a long-running L.A.-based foundation that provides permanent housing, case management, medical and mental healthcare, benefits advocacy, employment training, and other services to houseless individuals across the state of California and addresses the problem of homelessness.

“I have been thinking for a long time about various ideas to help the homeless community and The Homeward Bound Concert seemed like a perfect way for the music industry and artist community to join together and make a difference,” says Shank. “I’ve seen first hand that any contribution can make a positive impact on homeless families life. We as an industry, a community, and a city can come together on January 23rd to generate necessary funding and awareness to help get families off the streets. I’m grateful to everyone who has stepped up and supported this event in the first year and hope to have the opportunity to continue to raise funding for PATH in years to come.”

The concert will feature stripped down mini-sets from each of the artists, unique collaborations, and surprise guests.

Making a rare appearance with his band mate Robby Krieger from The Doors, John Densmore says, “when you get the brass ring, it is natural to give back.  I wish the 1% felt the same.”
