Written by Flynn, Mary Kutter, and Brad Wagner and produced by M. Allen Parker, “Dreams Keep Dying” is set against a gritty Appalachian-folk sonic landscape featuring an instrumental trio of acoustic guitar, banjo, and fiddle. The song finds a man at the end of his rope, struggling to find a silver lining in the depths of life’s most defeating moments. From the relentless and tiring pursuit of a dream that feels so far out of reach to love that’s slipped through his fingers to the isolation of pushing everyone away, Flynn paints a picture of the feeling of desolation that can’t be outrun.

Handsketched with charcoal by Flynn himself, the track’s artwork finds his Appalachian astronaut character, which has been featured in past release artwork, make another appearance, this time on horseback with the Nashville skyline in the reflection of his helmet. Download the artwork HERE.

“Dreams Keep Dying” follows the release of Flynn’s “Robbing A Bank” and “Wasted Day,” which are all set to be featured on his debut album coming later this year.

Flynn, who signed with Big Machine Records / Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment and with WME for global representation earlier this year, was recently announced as the flagship signee for Universal Music Publishing Group Nashville and ONE4 Music’s joint publishing venture.
