Incubus Frontman Announces First Tour With New Project Sons Of The Sea

Brandon Boyd, frontman of platinum-selling rock band Incubus, will take his new musical project Sons of the Sea on its first US tour this winter. Backed by a full band, Boyd will perform songs from Sons of the Sea's self-titled debut album, which "plays off his more Beatlesque and R&B side" (Vice) and has been met with praise from The Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, USA Today, and Elle among others.

Sons of the Sea grew out of Boyd's long musical relationship with producer Brendan O'Brien. Billboard describes the debut album as "buoyant pop" that's "beautifully orchestrated," while Nylon says it's "a musical high courtesy of smooth vocals, hypnotic synthesizers and infectious instrumentation" that puts Boyd "in a creative league of his own."
