Intelligence Squared Wins Telly Awards for China Tech Debate

Nonpartisan and nonprofit debate series Intelligence Squared U.S. is thrilled to have been honored by the Telly Awards for the second year in a row, winning awards in both the General Live Events and General Public Interest/Awareness categories for their debate "Unresolved: The Techonomic Cold War with China." The debaters were Ian Bremmer, Michèle Flournoy, Yasheng Huang, Parag Khanna, and Susan Thornton. The organization has now won six Telly Awards in total.

The Tellys aren't the only ones praising Intelligence Squared's recent debates. In recent months, Politico Magazinewrote that the presidential debates should be run more like Intelligence Squared's, and Bill Nye said, "Those debates are amazing. They're always really well produced and the host [John Donvan] is excellent."

Earlier this month, Intelligence Squared U.S. held another debate on China, debating the motion "Coronavirus Will Reshape the World Order in China's Favor."

And tomorrow, Intelligence Squared U.S. presents the fourth installment in their ongoing virtual debates series, debating the motion "Nationalism Is a Force for Good" in partnership with the German Marshall Fund's Brussels Forum. The debate begins at 11:15 am ET. Find more info and register to watch here.
