The British are coming to The Iridium in October for a month of star power from across the pond. John Mayall kicks things off with a two-night celebration of his 80th birthday featuring special surprise guests, followed by five nights with the legendary Ginger Baker. Asia's John Wetton, Naked Eyes' Peter Byrne, Savoy Brown, Mitch Winehouse, and Matt Schofield round out the month. See below for details:

Oct 4-5: John Mayall and Friends 80th Birthday Celebration - As founder of the legendary John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, pioneering British guitarist/songwriter John Mayall has been influential in the careers of countless musicians, from Eric Clapton and Peter Green to Mick Fleetwood and Jack Bruce.

Oct 9-13: Ginger Baker - Described as "the most influential percussionist of the 1960s" (AllMusic) for his work with Cream, Ginger Baker has a longstanding love for jazz and world music, and has collaborated across genres with everyone from Bill Frisell to Fela Kuti.
