We picked Sunnyside of the Street because of how surprisingly sad the lyrics are when you focus in on them. We thought the song deserved to be shown in a light that reflects that. Shane made an incredible contribution to music and it’s an honour to be included in the project with so many talented people, especially given the cause it serves.” - Kingfishr

As ‘20th Century Paddy’ prepares to introduce Shane MacGowan's timeless songbook to a new era, Kingfishr’s contribution stands as a powerful testament to the enduring, cross generational impact of Shane MacGowans songwriting.
