(New York, NY): Brighton native Isabelle Brown has announced her new EP, '03' set for February 7th release via True Panther & AWAL/Kobalt. The four-song collection recorded by Isabelle between the ages of 12-14 creates a world of its own fusing orchestral, hip hop, R&B and soul underpinned by Isabelle's striking vocals.
Today, the “perfect old-soul-teen” (Milk) released new jam "What U Waiting 4" the second single from '03.'

'03' is Isabelle's unapologetic quest in approaching life with a large dose of laughter while also reflecting her mature and genuine understanding of music. FADER calls the EP’s first single, “Places” a "soulful escape" and UPROXX says "it's not just the maturity in the vocals that stands out...but also just the confidence of the arrangement, the lyrics, and the entire package."

Isabelle Brown is an old soul trapped in the body of a fearless fifteen-year-old. Her story thus far is not that of your typical precocious teen star-in-waiting: hard graft, grit and vulnerability, those core values of true Soul music underpin her powerhouse vocals. Inspired by the rich emotions of Nina Simone and the force-of-nature energy of Tina Turner, her mature perspective and deep found artistry is reminiscent of the old-school R&B influences found in A Tribe Called Quest.
The singer-songwriter's curious and refreshing contemporary twist on these classic sounds is explored across her first mixtape 'Only Having A Laugh,' released in February 2018. The seven-song body of work relishes on love and laughter–themes that continue to take charge in Isabelle's music.
To celebrate the release, Isabelle has announced a debut headlining show at London's Kansas Smitty’s. Tickets: https://www.kansassmittys.com/whats-on/2019/2/7/the-shed-with-isabelle-brown
