Jackie Lee Proves Himself As A 2017 "Artist To Watch" With Spotify Gains, CMA Fest Success And Feature Festival And Tour Performances
Country newcomer Jackie Lee continues to earn his keep as a 2017 "Artist to Watch" -- an accolade awarded to the 25-year-old by Billboard, Huffington Post, CMT, Rolling Stone Country, Amazon and iHeart Radio's Bobby Bones -- with his current single "Getting Over You," which recently surpassed 11.7 million streams on Spotify. The song is currently included on Spotify's Hot Country, Wild Country and New Boots playlists, outpacing numerous Top 40 Country Radio artists, including Midland, Drake White, High Valley, Chris Janson and others, and he's engaging just shy of one million monthly listeners.
Delivering undoubtedly the most energetic six days of CMA Fest, Jackie Lee participated in City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game, CMT Red Carpet as a 2017 Artist To Watch, headlined Losers's Bar & Grill's Whiskey Jam, completed an Opry Circle Throwdown, completed live remotes as part of SiriusXM The Highway's "Music Row Happy Hour," competed in the Craig Campbell Celebrity Cornhole Challenge, hosted five autograph signings, and hosted Instagram takeovers for CMA, CMT, Amazon Music, Sweety High and Morning Hangover.
On Sat., June 10, Jackie Lee "brought the pop rock vibes" (Billboard) with an unexpected cover of Fall Out Boy's "Sugar Were Going Down," which secured a mention in the Billboard CMA Fest Day 3 Highlights.
Jackie will be a featured performer on the "Next From Nashville" stage at both the Faster Horses Festival and Route 91 Harvest Festival and was just announced as support for the Bobby Bones "Class of 2017" tour. Artists previously named to Bones' "class" include Maren Morris, Brothers Osborne and Jon Pardi.
