LOS ANGELES, October 25, 2022 – One of the world’s most popular YouTube creators, gaming commentators and entrepreneurs, Sean “Jacksepticeye” McLoughlin announced he will be bringing back his friends, celebrities and community of more than 28M subscribers to raise money during his annual Thankmas fundraising event on Tiltify. All proceeds for this year’s event will support World Central Kitchen (WCK), a nonprofit organization founded by Chef José Andrés to provide fresh meals in response to crises around the world.

Throughout December, anyone who wants to participate on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook,TikTok or any platform can harness the collective power of their online communities to help hit this year’s fundraising goal of $10M for WCK. By participating in Thankmas, donors will not only be providing nourishment to families who have been affected by hurricanes, floods and other disasters, but will also be providing comfort and hope during times of crises.

Jacksepticeye will celebrate Thankmas with his own live stream on Saturday, December 10, 2022. Viewers can expect fun and wacky incentives to participate, opportunities to interact with celebrity guests, as well as other surprises and merch from Jacksepticeye. Celebrity guests and additional creators are slated to make an appearance at different times throughout the evening.

“The mission of World Central Kitchen resonated with me and aligns with the goals of Thankmas; giving back on a global scale” said Sean McLoughlin. “Tiltify’s built-in milestone and engagement tools have helped us reach more communities and break records for Thankmas three years in a row. I’m excited to be partnering with them again this year to hopefully raise the most money to date for an organization that is doing so much for those impacted by these devastating disasters.”

This year's Thankmas continues to build upon the relationship between Jacksepticeye, Tiltify and Real Good Touring, who have partnered for this annual charity stream event over the past three years. Last year’s Thankmas raised over $7.7 million during a single record breaking day to support New Story’s efforts to end global homelessness by building affordable housing for families in need. Together, Jacksepticeye, Tiltify and RGT are looking to raise even more this year for WCK.

“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with a creator whose passion and contagious energy extends well beyond the online world into the real one to help those who need it most,” said Michael Wasserman, co-founder and CEO of Tiltify. “Sean’s generosity year after year is inspiring, and we can’t wait to get behind him to help raise the most money possible for WCK with our interactive donation technology.”

Responsible for powering today’s most popular social media platforms and live streaming services like TikTok, Twitch, YouTube and more,Tiltify is working with new and existing partners to create more interactive, live and personalized experiences for creators to leverage their social following for social good. With Thankmas, Tiltify continues its mission to go beyond traditional fundraising, serving today’s tapped-in digital generation.

“We believe in the power of food and community, and believe a nourishing meal in a time of crisis is so much more than a plate of food–it’s hope, it’s dignity, and a sign that we care.” said Jason Collis, WCK’s Vice President of Relief. “We’re so grateful to Jacksepticeye and the Tiltify community for rallying around our efforts, and raising funds that will allow us to continue to act with urgency and provide meals to people who need it most, all around the world.”
