January 19, 2024 — Jacob Collier has released “Mi Corazón” featuring award-winning Colombian music star Camilo, the latest single from his forthcoming album Djesse Vol. 4The final chapter of Collier's groundbreaking Djesseseries, Vol. 4, which has been picked by Vulture and NPR as one of the most anticipated albums of 2024, will be released February 29th (Hajanga / Decca / Interscope). True to Collier’s form, “Mi Corazón” embraces another unprecedented collaboration - celebrating the unexpected, delighting in irreverence, and presenting a unique twist on the concept of love evolving over time. With a filthy head-bop chorus that packs a serious punch, and tender, eloquent multi-lingual verses to boot, “Mi Corazón” was born out of an in-person jam session and an authentic budding friendship between two warm-hearted musical titans.

Says Collier:

“Camilo is without doubt one of my favorite humans and musical forces on the planet. Despite us only having met three times, we genuinely feel like brothers. When we coincidentally collided forces for the first time in Tokyo last August, we instantly hit it off and became firm friends. A month later, we convened in Los Angeles to throw some musical paint and see where it might lead us. That afternoon’s experiments resulted in ‘Mi Corazón,’ which elated the two of us in equal measure. When we met a couple of months after that to shoot the music video, both of us knew we had a friend for life in the other. I am overjoyed this song is in the world!”

Says Camilo:

“I have been a big fan of Jacob for many years. Collaborating with such a musical genius can be intimidating, but I can honestly say that working with him on 'Mi Corazón' was one of the most enlightening, creative, and personal experiences I've ever had. When I traveled to LA to record the song, I brought a bag full of instruments from different parts of the world to show my friend, knowing he would appreciate them as much as I do. He kindly welcomed me, as he always has, and was open to my ideas and aesthetic. We became like little kids playing the instruments together for a long time before even recording. Witnessing his process and the fascination with how he approaches what he does inspired me so much and filled me with a renewed energy to continue creating. I love this song because it profoundly explores both of our identities. I'm incredibly grateful to Jacob, not only for the opportunity to be part of his album but, most importantly, for becoming a true brother for life.”

Today Collier also reveals the full Djesse Vol. 4 tracklist featuring an unsurprisingly staggering list of collaborators. Chris Martin, John Legend, aespa, Tori Kelly, Madison Cunningham, Chris Thile, Yelle, CHIKA, Anoushka Shankar, The Aeolians 2018 Choir, Lindsey Lomis, his mother Suzie Collier, and others join the previously revealed Shawn Mendes, Stormzy, Kirk Franklin, John Mayer, Lizzy McAlpine, Brandi Carlile, Michael McDonald, Lawrence and the collective “Audience Choir” voices of 150,000 fans recorded in every corner of the world across his last two years of global touring. See below for the full tracklist: 16 songs that form the thrilling conclusion of Collier’s epic Djesse journey that began in 2018.

With Vol. 4, the saga ends with the incandescent combination of narrative arcs, alchemizing a full spectrum of emotion into a massive, joyous moment of awakening and human potential.

Collier is set to embark on his most extensive North American tour to date this spring to celebrate Djesse, including iconic venues such as Radio City Music Hall and The Greek in Los Angeles. The full tour itinerary is detailed below. He is also now a 12-time GRAMMY® nominee, with another nomination announced for the 66th GRAMMY Awards®, for Best Arrangement, Instruments, and Vocals, for "In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning" in collaboration with the acapella vocal group ‘saje’.
