“James’ connection to the Red Sox, Fenway Park, and the broader Fenway Sports Group family has been a constant, and there is no one better suited to the task of debuting our new state-of-the-art venue,” said Red Sox President Sam Kennedy. “We didn’t only seek him out for his talent, accomplishment, and appeal, but as a Bostonian who, like us, understands the power a venue can have on people and communities. We can’t wait to have James perform at the MGM Music Hall, a place we hope will stand for something greater than brick and mortar in the music world.”
