Capitol Christian Music Group artist Jamie MacDonald has quickly established herself as one of the top new Christian artists of 2026 with monumental success following her debut album, ‘Jamie MacDonald,’ released on January 23.
Chart-topping Success & Radio Wins:
MacDonald's self-titled album debuted at No. 1 on the Luminate Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart and No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart, marking one of the strongest debut weeks in the genre.
Her debut radio single, “Desperate,” earned MacDonald her first No. 1 across the Billboard Christian AC and Mediabase Christian AC charts, while also setting a record for most stations spinning on impact date in Christian radio history. Not long after, her career-defining breakout radio hit, "Left It In The River," spent 12 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard Christian AC, Mediabase Christian AC, and Mediabase Activator Christian AC charts, and landed on Spotify’s Viral US 50 chart. Her Left It In The River [Reimagined] EP, featuring three new versions of the track, was released July 30.
Most recently, MacDonald earned her third consecutive chart-topping single from her debut album with “Ain’t No Way,” reaching the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Christian Airplay Chart earlier this month.
Crushing Records:
The Jamie MacDonald album set the record for the largest debut album streaming launch for a female artist in Christian music and the biggest debut album streaming launch in Capitol Christian Music Group history. The album's debut radio single, “Desperate,” set a record for most stations spinning on impact date in Christian radio history.

In less than a year, MacDonald has achieved more than 295 million global career streams, was named a 2026 Artist To Watch by both Spotify and Amazon Music, has collected three 2026 K-LOVE Fan Award nominations and a Song of the Year win for "Left It In The River," and a 2025 GMA Dove Award nomination.
