John Mayer + Culinary Masters Added To ZBB's Nashville Fest


 
When Zac Brown Band kicks off supersets at next weekend's Southern Ground Music & Food Festival (presented by Jack Daniel's) with sit-in performances by Gregg Allman, John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Alan Jackson, and Dwight Yoakam, fans across Nashville's The Lawn at Riverfront Park will be rounding out the five-sense concert experience with the finest in Southern fare. 

Helmed by Southern Ground Executive Chef Rusty Hamlin, Chefs RJ Cooper (Chef/Owner at Rogue 24, Washington, DC), Matthew Lackey (Chef at Flyte, Nashville, TN), and Bob Waggoner (Chef at Watermark, Nashville, TN) will prepare a custom menu for ticket-holders in the Front Porch Stage Boxes, while Nashville's top local food trucks whip up delicacies from Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwiches and Artisan Grilled Pizzas to award-winning Smoked Brisket Sliders and Sweet Tea Pie.

Riff's Fine Street Food - jerk chicken, fish tacos, burgers, and more
Bistro Truck - Artisan Grilled Pizzas, Sandwiches, Salads, & Homemade Soups
Delta Bound - Meat Pies, Hot Tamales, PoBoys, Crawfish Bread, and more

Rusty Hamlin - Executive Chef, Zac Brown Band (Atlanta, GA)
Rusty Hamlin's Eat-and-Greets have captured the attention of the New York Times, Associated Press, and the TODAY Show, among others. As partner at Atlanta's Atkins Park, and out on the road with Zac Brown Band, Chef Hamlin combines culinary traditions from his upbringing in Louisiana with a love for fresh, local ingredients.

RJ Cooper - Chef/Owner, Rogue 24 (Washington, DC)
Chef RJ Cooper presents a radical dining experience at Rogue 24, with his 24-course tasting menu. An Iron Chef competitor and advocate for child hunger relief, Cooper has more than two decades experience in award-winning kitchens up and down the East Coast and was awarded James Beard's "Best Chef Mid-Atlantic" in 2007. 

Matthew Lackey - Executive Chef, Flyte (Nashville, TN)
With a wealth of experience from Le Cordon Bleu to Charleston, SC to Nashville, Chef Matthew Lackey uses modern cooking techniques to showcase the world-class local products available in his home state of Tennessee. At McCrady's and Husk in Charleston and now at Flyte in Nashville, he highlights the importance of local and organic food.

Bob Waggoner - Chef, Watermark (Nashville, TN)
Chef Bob Waggoner's talents have been recognized around the world, with accolades including Food & Wine's "Reader's Favorite Chef in America Award," four James Beard nominations for Best Chef in the Southeast, and Knighthood from the government of France. He is an Emmy-award winner and his show "Ucook! With Chef Bob" begins airing on PBS affiliates nationwide this fall.
