Los Angeles, October 23 – Multi-platinum recording artist JoJo is partnering with Seeker Music, the creator-led music rights, publishing and record company founded by hit songwriter Evan Bogart and backed by M&G Investments. Launching today, the partnership celebrates JoJo’s music as one of the defining forces of 21st-century pop and R&B while laying the groundwork for its next chapter. Seeker has acquired JoJo’s original and re-recorded versions of her seminal first two albums – JoJo and The High Road – and is setting the stage for the future with special releases and projects that build on that remarkable discography.
The celebration kicks off with Seeker’s release of a deluxe 20th anniversary edition of The High Road, JoJo’s landmark sophomore album. Featuring the complete original album (and four bonus tracks from the original 2006 editions) alongside a new acoustic recording of the Spanish version of “Too Little Too Late,” titled “Acepto La Realidad (Versión Acústica),” the edition offers longtime fans something new to discover while introducing the album to a new generation of listeners. Physical editions will follow (including a 180g “Glassy Ice” translucent vinyl version that’s PVC-free and 100% recyclable) with pre-orders launching today alongside the digital release.

JoJo was just 13 when “Leave (Get Out)” introduced her voice to the world, making her the youngest female solo artist ever to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Top 40 chart. With “Too Little Too Late” two years later, she cemented her place in the music landscape, pairing powerhouse vocals with an emotional capacity far beyond her years. Those songs became anthems for a generation, and their unmistakable hooks and performances remain touchstones of 2000s pop and R&B. Across a career spanning music, film and the stage, JoJo has grown from a teenage phenomenon into an enduring singer, songwriter and actress, with a devoted fanbase that has stayed with her for more than two decades. The partnership with Seeker embraces the music JoJo has made throughout that journey, including the original versions of her self-titled debut and The High Road, as well as the precedent setting re-recorded versions she created and released independently in 2018 (which will now be renamed the Clover Room Editions). With her entire catalog of recordings originating from those two albums now under the same umbrella, JoJo is encouraging her audience to celebrate that work in full – from her earliest performances to the recordings she returned to as an established artist. For JoJo and Bogart, that work also builds on a shared creative history: the two have previously written together, and both helped shape the sound of the same era. As JoJo was breaking through, Bogart was writing hits for her contemporaries, including Rihanna’s “SOS” and Beyoncé’s “Halo.” That connection, and Seeker’s songwriter-led approach, give the partnership a foundation of trust as they celebrate the songs fans love and explore new ideas together. Seeker's connection to JoJo predates this new partnership, too. Seeker already holds publishing interests in two of her best known songs: 'Too Little Too Late,' through its acquisition of RuthAnne Cunningham's publishing catalog, and 'Leave (Get Out),' through its acquisition of Soulshock & Karlin’s catalog via Notting Hill Music. For years, Seeker has helped bring both songs to new audiences, from Levi & Mario's reimagining '2 Little 2 Late' and Alexander Stewart's 'The Way a Heart Breaks,' an interpolation of 'Too Little Too Late,' to a run of successful DSP, social media and short-form video campaigns. JoJo said “Deciding who to trust with such a personal and important part of my catalog wasn’t something I took lightly. So, when discussions started about Seeker acquiring the original recordings of JoJo and The High Road, my interest was piqued. Over time it was heartening to learn more about their ethos and see how involved and passionate Evan is - someone who truly understands artists because he is a creator himself. I appreciate the care they’ve taken in understanding what this music means to me and to my fans. It feels full-circle to have both versions of these albums together with a team committed to finding new ways to amplify it.” Seeker Music CEO Evan Bogart added “JoJo is straight up incredible. She’s one of the greatest voices of her generation, and continues to inspire generations of songwriters, producers and vocalists. Her fans have stood by her for more than 20 years, and you can hear why in every note. I’ve personally been such a fan for so long, and it means the world to all of us at Seeker to be partnering with her. This is just the beginning!” The High Road’s 20th anniversary celebration moves on stage November 13th with the start of JoJo’s “The High Road – 20 Years Unplugged” tour. The run includes New York’s Irving Plaza, Washington, D.C.’s Howard Theatre and Chicago’s Park West, with stripped-back performances of songs from the album alongside favorites from across her catalog. The intimate shows will highlight the vocals and storytelling that made the album so enduring, while giving fans a taste of what’s ahead. And looking further to the future, Seeker is already working on archival music and visual releases based around JoJo’s discography, as well as a new single built around JoJo’s music with one of today’s leading electronic music acts. Together, these projects reflect the ambition behind the partnership: to honor JoJo’s work, to create room to revisit and experiment with it in new ways, and to introduce it to the next generation of her fans. Seeker Music Chief Creative Officer Steven Melrose said “We're super excited to be partnering with JoJo and to globally celebrate her music this year and beyond. To kick things off, we're releasing the deluxe 20th anniversary edition of The High Road today, and she'll be continuing the celebration next month with her sold-out ‘20 Years Unplugged’ tour. We already have so much in store for the music from that album and her debut, and can't wait to continue building new chapters together!” Valued at more than $400 million, Seeker’s portfolio includes music from Joan Jett, Christopher Cross, Run the Jewels, Cocteau Twins’ Simon Raymonde, Jon Bellion, Jay Sean, Nu Shooz, DMX, SWV, The Go-Go’s and many more. Led by creators, Seeker treats great catalogs as a starting point for reinvention – bringing artists and songwriters together to celebrate and amplify their music. One of Seeker’s successful initiatives includes their focus on flipping classic songs into new hits, giving them another turn in the spotlight and connecting with new generations of music fans. With JoJo, the work has just begun. JoJo was represented by Michael Guido and Rawan Ezzo of Carroll, Guido, Groffman, Cohen, Bar & Karalian, LLP. Seeker was represented by Eric Custer and Jacob Geskin of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, and by Seeker’s General Counsel, Dan Stuart.
