Jonah Mutono Shares Personal Essay At The Daily Beast, Releases “The Low”

Debut Album GERG Out May 15 on True Panther/EQT

Today, Jonah Mutono debuts his new track “The Low” alongside a personal essay over at The Daily Beast. The track is a stunner, a ballad about a secret relationship that peaks with Jonah’s ecstatic falsetto. However, Jonah’s essay details the epiphanic relationship that inspired “The Low” and his forthcoming debut album GERG, out May 15 on True Panther/EQT.

NPR Music says his music evokes "the cool vulnerability of Frank Ocean and the sleek balladeering of Khalid.” Recently, Elton John featured Jonah’s track “Circulation” on his Rocket Hour show on Beats 1 Radio. Pigeons and Planes describes the track as “powerful...a theatrical, expansive leap,” and them named it one of 10 New Songs By Queer Artists You Need To Hear.
