The trio release acoustic single-bundle Trio Sessions Vol.1 today, right on time to add these chilled-out offerings to your holiday playlists.

Putting the pristine vocal harmonies that put them on the map front and center, Joseph have re-imagined “NYE” and “Without You”, to stunning effect. The sisters are also set to appear on BBC 2's Jools Holland’s Hootenanny in the U.K. for New Year’s. Ending 2019 on such a high note can only be a positive omen of what’s to come for this soul-baring, honest family affair.

The pop/rock/folk trio recently released a cover of Tom Waits' “Come On Up To The House,” the title track to a new tribute album for the legendary musician 'Come On Up to the House: Women Sing Waits' that was released November 22nd. Rolling Stone says it's a "reassuring rendition of Tom Waits’ song of resolve" while American Songwriter praises the "magnetic" vocals and performance.

Joseph recently wrapped their European tour leg, announced their 2020 North American tour dates and played a special show with the Lumineers at WXRT's Holiday Jam at the Vic in Chicago this past weekend. They're also set to play Portland's Live Wire Radio on December 19th at Alberta Rose Theatre.

ABOUT JOSEPH

Choosing their name in deference to their grandfather Jo, and the tiny Oregon town of Joseph where he lived, Natalie Schepman and her two twin sisters Allison and Meegan Closner, grew up in a musical household (their dad was a jazz singer and drummer, their mom a theater teacher), but didn’t sing together until just a few years ago. Joseph officially formed in 2014 when Natalie, an aspiring performer looking for a creative jolt, asked her sisters to form a band together.

They quickly discovered their gift for songwriting and vocal alchemy and began cultivating a devoted fan base playing secret house party gigs before signing with ATO Records. Since then, Joseph has been named a 2016 Spotify Spotlight artist, toured with James Bay and Amos Lee, performed on Ellen, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, CBS This Morning Saturday, "Later" with Jools Holland and prestigious festival stages like Coachella, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits and Outside Lands.
