Judith Owen’s Ebb & Flow Tour Will Leave Fans ‘‘Gobsmacked!’’

Judith Owen's Ebb & Flow Tour Will Leave Fans ''Gobsmacked!''

The New York Times calls Judith Owen a "funny and fearless performer", and on May 6, she kicks off The Ebb & Flow Tour, playing songs from the album of the same name. The pianist and singer will play stripped down, but jazzed up renditions of songs with Leland Sklar (James Taylor, Carole King & many others) supporting on bass.

Fans who have heard the new songs live are already raving about them on Twitter:

"Moved and grooved to @judithowen in LA tonite. Gobsmacked!" John Bowe (@JohnBoweActor)

"This evening saw @judithowen perform a stunning gig. And her backing musicians? Oh, only Waddy Wachtel, Leland Sklar and Russ Kunkel!" Bob Harris (@WhisperingBob)

"Such an amazing event last night with @judithowen ! A hugely inspirational woman and a talent that knows no boundaries #icon #greatnight" Jane Baker (@JaneBaker100)

The "rocker and jazz chanteuse" (Variety) will release 'Ebb & Flow' on May 6. The album, produced by Owen and David Z (Prince), features Sklar, guitarist Waddy Wachtel, and drummer Russ Kunkel recording together for the first time in over fifteen years, having been mainstays on records by 70s troubadours like Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Carole King, and Jackson Browne. Hear the band talk about working with the "truly gifted pianist, lyricist, [and] singer" in a sneak preview of the album here.
