Award-winning artist, songwriter, pianist and composer Kory Caudill announces his debut national Concert for the Human Family Tour, bringing musicians of diverse backgrounds and genres together in some of the most beautiful cathedrals across the country. The Concert for the Human Family Tour will kick off on Thurs., Apr. 21st at Cathedral Church of St. Paul + The Crossing in Boston, MA, and make stops in New York City, Baltimore, Los Angeles and more.

The tour is centered around the creative partnership between Caudill and Baltimore-based rapper/spoken-word artist Anthony “Wordsmith” Parker. The two released their ‘Progressions’ EP in 2021, which put a spotlight on the tumultuous moments of 2020, while celebrating the healing power of music.

The Concert for the Human Family series received a Webby Honoree for Best Event and Live Stream Video in the 26th Annual Webby Awards, and Caudill and Wordsmith appeared on WHYY/PBSMovers & Makers last week to speak about the series' powerful intersection of art, reconciliation and faith. Caudill grew up in rural eastern Kentucky surrounded by impeccable musicians. He participated in the area’s Mountain Arts Center programs, which were helmed by his father Keith Caudill and helped build a foundation for artists like Tyler Childers and bandmates of artists like Chris Stapleton and Steven Tyler. From 2008-2021 Caudill played keys for multi-PLATINUM selling country artist Justin Moore, had his ’Tree of Life' album debut in the top 10 of Billboard's Jazz and New Age charts, landed his first studio musician gig playing on Dustin Lynch's song “Cowboys and Angels,” and more. In 2021, Caudill launched his publishing company Inside Music Publishing Nashville alongside Billboard Music Award-winning R&B/pop record producer and music industry leader Marc Costanzo and continued his work with Concert for the Human Family, a performance series connecting musicians, artists and creatives to shape a musical journey exploring the powerful intersection between art, social justice and faith.

"I've spent the last thirteen years touring in country music, and I've been fortunate to see some of the coolest venues on earth,” says Caudill. "This tour is different. These spaces are inspirational in a way that I've never experienced while performing, and I'm excited for audiences to share in those experiences. My favorite part about this tour is how we're blending genres in a natural way, allowing artists to support each other’s diverse styles in a unifying space."

Concertgoers can expect a 75-minute full band set that celebrates music of every genre and musicians from diverse backgrounds. The show will take place in some of the most beautiful cathedrals across America and feature performances from Caudill alongside artists including Wordsmith, Capitol Recording artist Blessing Offor, GRAMMY-winning country music Pam Tillis, Caudill’s father whose social media performances with Caudill have gone viral, and others. The Concert for the Human Family Tour is part of the Concert for the Human Family series, which was created by Caudill and The Episcopal Church, and its Becoming Beloved Community movement which focuses on racial reconciliation beyond the church through music.
