Lee Brice Earns Artist and Producer Nod in ACM "Single Record of the Year" Category
(New York, N.Y.) Jan. 30, 2015 — Lee Brice received an Academy of Country Music nomination this morning in the "Single Record of the Year" category as both the Artist and Producer of "I Don't Dance," the RIAA certified Platinum single from his Billboard Country #1 album of the same name.
These are Lee's first nominations for Artist and Producer and follow his 2014 ACM "Song of the Year" trophy for "I Drive Your Truck."
Brice, who performed his song "More Than A Memory" with Garth Brooks last weekend in Boston, shared, ""I Don't Dance" is a special song — I wrote it for Sara [his wife], so this nomination means a lot. I'm also humbled to join the incredible lineup in the category, and it's really cool to be recognized as a producer because it's such a big part of my creative process. I can't wait to see y'all in Dallas!"
The 50th ACM Awards will air live from AT&T Stadium on Sunday, April 19th at 8:00 PM ET/Delayed PT on CBS.
