Qello Launches Blog, Inside the Q with Fong-Torres at the Helm
 
Qello, the HD concert films and music documentary streaming service is launching a blog with legendary music journalist, Ben Fong-Torres as the Senior Editor. 

Inside the Q is the new editorial home for the on-demand music entertainment service. The blog will uncover the assets in Qello’s vast catalog with reviews of the full-length concerts and documentaries, as well as Ben Fong-Torres’ personal encounters and interviews with many of the artists.

Ben Fong-Torres is the Senior Editor from Rolling Stone magazine who was characterized in the 2000 Cameron Crowe movie, Almost Famous. Ben joined Rolling Stone in May 1969 (in its eighth issue). His interview subjects included Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, Ray Charles, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Bonnie Raitt, the Jackson 5, Linda Ronstadt, Neil Diamond, Carlos Santana, Marvin Gaye, the Grateful Dead, Ike & Tina Turner, Diane Keaton, and Steve Martin. The Ray Charles interview won the Deems Taylor Award for Magazine Writing in 1974. Since Rolling Stone, Ben has written for many publications and has authored nine books. He just completed a book about Little Feat. Ben’s most triumphant television appearance was in 1993 when he won cash and fabulous prizes on Wheel of Fortune.
