LINEUP ANNOUNCED FOR 14 TH ANNUAL MOUNTAIN JAM MUSIC FESTIVAL

3-Day Festival June 15-17, 2018 in Upstate New York 

Hunter Mountain, NY – January 18, 2018— Mountain Jam, the Northeast’s most scenic and idyllic music festival, has confirmed an eclectic, genre-spanning lineup for its fourteenth year, June 15-17, 2018.  Headliners at the annual three-day, multi-stage mountainside event include Jack Johnson, Sturgill Simpson, and alt-J, with The War on Drugs, Portugal. The Man, Father John Misty, and The Decemberists also confirmed. Additional artists announced include Jenny Lewis, Kurt Vile & The Violators, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Rag’n’Bone Man, Turkuaz, Chicano Batman, The Record Company, Anderson East, The Felice Brothers, Son Little, Lewis Capaldi, and many more, making Mountain Jam one of the most discerningly curated boutique festivals in the country.

Tickets for Mountain Jam 2018 go on sale today, Thursday, January 18th starting at 10 a.m. (EST).  General Admission and VIP tickets are available for the full weekend starting at $184 and $600 respectively. Mountain Jam takes place on Hunter Mountain, one of the Northeast’s most pristine natural amphitheaters, located in the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York. Featuring over thirty bands on three stages, Mountain Jam is consistently rated one of the top music festivals in the country by Rolling Stone Magazine and others. Mountain Jam offers three-day festival tickets with and without camping, premium VIP, Super VIP and Ultimate VIP Passes, and single day tickets (which go on-sale in the Spring). On-site camping and condos, and a variety of nearby hotels, lodges and ski chalets offer attendees a wide variety of accommodations.

This year's Mountain Jam Festival will feature an expanded yoga program as well as a new outdoor acoustic stage. Craft beer and premium wines will once again be featured at the Empire State Tap House, which will play host to artists on the Indoor Stage.

Home to Mountain Jam for all of its fourteen years, Hunter Mountain is a world-class ski resort that offers many amenities. The Lodge provides fans with 24-hour access to indoor bathrooms, a large, full service bar, and food services. The Sky Ride provides a unique and inspiring opportunity for fans to take in the beautiful views of the Catskill Mountains while watching the music. More adventurous fans can also experience North America’s longest and highest zipline. Parking is free, and there are plenty of other fun-filled on-site attractions, a wide variety of food (from gourmet and organic fare to comfort food), arts & crafts vendors, and artist encounters. Mountain Jam prides itself on being family friendly. Children 10 and under are admitted at no charge with a paid adult and there is plenty of entertainment for kids including a children’s activity tent. The festival’s forward-thinking Awareness Village will once again host exhibits from not-for-profit organizations and environmental groups, children’s entertainment, performance and sculpture art, physical and spiritual healing, and much more. The Festival will also continue its greening efforts with recycling, and carbon offsets.

Mountain Jam’s VIP experience has been widely acclaimed and sells out every year. There are shaded outdoor hospitality lounges with views of the main stage, a VIP only Viewing Area directly in front of the Main Stage, a variety of gourmet food all day and night, beverages, discounted beer, and air-conditioned VIP-only bathrooms. There are exclusive and intimate VIP-only performances by dozens of bands. Other benefits include early arrival access to the Festival Pre-Party on Thursday evening, June 14, a VIP only entrance into the Festival, private VIP only camping areas and on-site RV parking.
