LOS ANGELES, CA — [Monday, March 16, 2026] — Forward-thinking global entertainment group tvg will officially open Pacific Electric, a new 750-capacity live music venue in Los Angeles’ historic Naud Warehouse, on March 19, 2026. Nestled between Chinatown and Mission Junction, Pacific Electric is designed to create intimate moments where fans and artists come together for unforgettable experiences.

For its first show, Pacific Electric welcomes LA folk rock band Dawes — a statement of intent for a venue that puts local talent first. This month also features shows from TimeCop1983, KCRW-presented show from critically acclaimed indie pop/rock band Voxtrot, with additional acts scheduled over the coming months, including Norah Jones, Alexander Stewart, Rose Gray, Hrishikesh Hirway, and more. During the annual Netflix Is A Joke Festival this May, the venue will welcome powerhouse comedians and musicians Robby Hoffman, Guster, Emil Wakim, Jimmy Yang, and others.

Built as an open space that celebrates all promoters and genres, Pacific Electric’s programming spans concerts, underplays, club nights, comedy, conversations, and cultural events—reflecting the full breadth of Los Angeles’ creative community. Early highlights include This Party Is Killing You, a Robyn-themed club night celebrating the Grammy Award winner’s latest album Sexistential, and VSSL, which will transform the space into a night of live music and dance, featuring sets from BUZZ KULL (Deep Hate EP release), VOID VISION (Make You Mine single release), and DJ sets from JESSI’S WORLD, Josh Beck, and Remy Marc. The venue will also host the one-day California Chaos festival, spotlighting California–based acts Militarie Gun, Stateside, Grave Secrets, XCOMM, Blossom, Jawdropped and Star 99.

Pacific Electric’s design draws inspiration from Los Angeles’ cultural legacy while creating a future-focused home for live music. Its name pays homage to the Pacific Electric Railway Company, nicknamed the “Red Cars,” which connected Los Angeles to surrounding city centers. Just as the Red Cars symbolized connection, Pacific Electric will serve as a creative hub for culture and community.

“Ever since I realized that my entire life would revolve around music in one way or another I've worn many hats, on and off stage, figuratively and literally!,” shares tvg founder Ben Lovett (Mumford & Sons)About 10 years ago, I took on the challenge of building a venue for the first time, with zero experience but a lot of passion and perspective as both a performing artist and a fan. Five venues later, I'm more passionate and committed to this than ever, and have learned a lot along the way. Pacific Electric is an offering to LA. Enjoy it, cherish it, scream, cheer, sweat, cry and fall in love in it. It's yours now.”

Pacific Electric blends raw industrial character with thoughtful design, offering impeccable sightlines, state-of-the-art acoustics, and dynamic LED lighting that transform each performance into an immersive experience. Hotel-grade facilities for artists include showers, laundry machines, and ample space for touring crews and opening acts. With hospitality at the forefront, the venue delivers comfort and care in a distinctive way that puts artists and their crews at the center. Extending its commitment to the arts beyond music, Pacific Electric will showcase rotating artwork in its artist green rooms, beginning with pieces by Christian Letts, painter and guitarist for Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros.

“We wanted it to feel warm and welcoming the moment you walk in — great sound, good drinks, and a team that genuinely cares. For artists, we focused on making things easy: simple load-ins, comfortable backstage spaces, and dressing rooms that actually feel good to be in,” shares Stacey Levine, Senior General Manager. She continues, “We’ve put a lot of thought into every decision, from the diverse lineup of music, club nights, and community programming to the little details that make a night out feel special. At the end of the day, Pacific Electric is about creating a place where people can come together, escape their daily routine, and share something unforgettable.”

Pacific Electric's beverage program gives the cocktails of the 90s and early 2000s the treatment they always deserved — quality ingredients, careful execution, and no pretension. A Long Island Iced Tea built with yuzu and Angostura, an unapologetic Spaghett, and a rotating frozen option sit alongside a selection of boilermakers, LA-based beers, and a thoughtfully restrained back bar.

Food-wise, the venue leans into flavor-packed, handheld bites designed for concert nights and late hangs. BADMAASH brings its bold, joyful energy to Pacific Electric with Secret Indian Food Window—a special collaboration rooted in supporting and celebrating LA’s vibrant local food community. Known for reimagining street food through its signature Indian lens, BADMAASH presents a menu that blends beloved fan favorites with exclusive new creations designed just for Pacific Electric patrons to consume in the venue’s outdoor garden. Highlights include iconic staples like Chicken Tikka Poutine—masala fries topped with cheese curds, brown beef gravy, and tandoori chicken tikka—alongside Pacific Electric–only offerings like BADMAASH Street Tacos, available with wagyu skirt steak, butter chicken, or aloo gobi (potato & cauliflower). Designed for concert nights, late hangs, and everything in between, the program reflects BADMAASH’s playful spirit and commitment to creating deeply craveable, unforgettable food experiences.

Just steps away, guests will also find MITSI, tvg’s forward-thinking cocktail bar and Ben Lovett’s “love letter to LA.” The independent concept delivers an elevated yet unpretentious experience of its own, making for a perfect space to gather pre/post-show.
