Friday, March 27, 2026 — Today (3.27), legendary vocalist and 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Lou Gramm, best known as the iconic original voice of Foreigner, unveils Released, his long-awaited third solo album. The 10-track collection marks the completion of a pivotal chapter in Gramm’s solo catalog.

Produced by Gramm with associate producer Matthew Gramm, the album features ten original songs co-written with Bruce Turgon, originally recorded during the 1980s in the wake of his solo releases Ready Or Not (1987) and Long Hard Look (1989). Recently revisited and carefully completed, these recordings preserve the warmth, grit, and analog character of the original sessions while benefiting from renewed clarity and sonic depth. The result bridges Gramm’s celebrated solo era with the perspective and enduring vocal power that have defined him as one of rock’s most influential and recognizable voices.

A stirring, deeply personal rock anthem built on sweeping melody, warm instrumentation, and Gramm’s unmistakable, soulful voice, “Heart and Soul” reflects on a life shaped by the road, hard-won experience, and enduring love. Written by Gramm and longtime collaborator and former Black Sheep bandmate Bruce Turgon, the song balances emotional intimacy with classic-rock strength, building into an anthemic chorus that underscores its message of gratitude, maturity, and devotion. Anchored by lyrics that trace the journey from youthful ambition to a deeper understanding of what truly matters, “Heart and Soul” stands as a defining centerpiece of Released.

Across the LP, Gramm explores love, resilience, longing, and self-reflection through a set of songs that feel both timeless and newly illuminated. Opening track “Young Love” channels the urgency and defiance of youthful devotion with wide-eyed, arena-ready energy, while “Lightning Strikes” pairs emotional tension with a driving sense of renewal and second chances. Elsewhere, “Long Gone” delivers one of the album’s most reflective moments, meditating on the road traveled, the people lost along the way, and the acceptance that comes with looking back. “Deeper Side of Love” leans into the album’s philosophical core, embracing the truth that love, faith, and strength are inseparable from vulnerability and sacrifice.

Lou Gramm will hit the road throughout 2026 in support of his latest release Released, with a run of solo headline dates across North America. Highlights include stops at the Honeywell Arts & Entertainment Center in Wabash, IN, the Palace Theatre in Stamford, CT, American Music Theatre in Lancaster, PA, and the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, IL, among others. The tour will bring Gramm’s iconic voice to stages nationwide, celebrating both new material and the timeless hits that defined a generation.
