On their new single "Mon Cheri," recently released in partnership with the Red Hotorganization, SOFI TUKKER and Amadou & Mariam create "a true sonic melting pot...fusing African percussion, Brazilian rhythms and good old Florida synth into a sophisticated, joyfully energized vibe" (Billboard). Today, the intercontinental collaboration and international party jam travels even further with a brand new remix from LP Giobbi.

As co-founders of the Animal Talk collective, label, publishing company and traveling party, LP Giobbi and SOFI TUKKER have long been best friends, but "Mon Cheri" marks the first remix they've worked on together. The Austin-based producer and piano house queen transforms the euphoric, multilingual cacophony of love into a climactic build of vocal stacks, polyrhythms and pounding keys, continuing Red Hot's 30-year mission of fighting HIV/AIDS and supporting LGBTQ organizations through global anthems. "Mon Cheri" (LP Giobbi Remix) is the first in a series of new takes on "Mon Cheri." The full remix package will be revealed soon, and like the original single, proceeds will benefit The Ally Coalition, Trevor Project and SAGE.

"I am 100% the product of SOFI TUKKER's love, support, belief, encouragement and musical mentorship," says LP Giobbi. "They were the ones who gave me a stage to learn on, started a record label that put out my music, and they were the ones that said 'Hey, why don't you add the piano to your set?' So to finally get to remix one of their tracks is the ultimate dream come true. And it was well worth the wait because the original track is MY MF JAM!!!! So much so that it was almost intimidating to take on (for all the aforementioned reasons) but hearing Sophie and Amadou & Mariam's voice mixed with Tucker's production inspired me and guided me into making one of my favorite remixes yet!"

"Mon Cheri" appears on Red Hot's new double album of dance and electronic bops, Red Hot + Free, released last Friday and helmed by producer Bill Coleman.
