Dreamy acoustic strings and hypnotic vocals frame Carpenter's candid admission on “Kinda Want Your Man” as whiskey, slow songs and late-night heartache blur the line between right and wrong. Embracing a reckless, throw-caution-to-the-wind mindset, she ignores her better judgment, convinced one more chance with a heartbreaker might be enough to mend the pain of a broken heart.
