This month, Margo Price kicks off her headline Wild At Heart Tour, bringing the music of her new album, Hard Headed Woman, to a run of nearly 50 shows that will now extend through 2026. Following a return to Nashville's Ryman Auditorium and more this fall, her next leg of North American performances will span February and March, including DC's 9:30 Club, NYC's Webster Hall, Toronto's Phoenix Concert Theatre, Chicago's Metro, San Francisco's Fillmore, LA's Fonda Theatre and 15 other stops across the country, announced today and listed below.
Tickets for all newly added dates go on-sale at 10am local time this Friday, October 10th, with a series of presales beginning at 10am local time tomorrow, October 7th, and are available at margoprice.net/tour
For nearly a decade, Margo Price has created a lane where independent-minded, insurgent country music can exist and thrive alongside the mainstream. Now she's back with Hard Headed Woman (Loma Vista Recordings), one of "the year's defining country albums" (Rolling Stone), and an exquisite, timeless collection of songs that reconnect with her roots. At its core, Hard Headed Woman is about that furious instinct to never waver – especially when our values and future are so clearly on the line – and across the record she "rocks the 'outlaw country' label as hard as anyone in the game" (Pitchfork).
Reunited with producer Matt Ross-Spang (Midwest Farmer’s Daughter, All American Made), and recorded in the historic RCA Studio A, Hard Headed Woman captures Margo Price at her wisest, funniest, toughest and most vulnerable, doubling down not only on herself, but what she has always loved – classic, urgent songs written from the intellect and the gut. The album features duets with Tyler Childers and Jesse Welles, contributions from Kris Kristofferson and Rodney Crowell, and a Waylon Jennings song that his widow, Jessi Colter, urged her to sing, as the music traces Price's journey from dive bars to tour buses, through parenthood and marriage, scrutiny and sacrifice in a place that prizes uniformity and the bottom line. It's country music as only Price can make it: free of rules, cherishing tradition, hard headed but with a delicate beating heart.
In recent weeks, Margo Price shared a new video for "Love Me Like You Used To Do" (feat. Tyler Childers), delivered a prescient performance of "Don't Let The Bastards Get You Down" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! just hours before the show was pulled off the air, played a triumphant set at Farm Aid with special appearances from Senator Amy Klobuchar, Billy Strings and Jesse Welles, and hosted an intimate night at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles.
