(New York, NY): Genre-defiant singer, songwriter, producer & saxophonist Masego’s new album, 'Lady Lady,’ releasedSeptember 7th, debuted on the Billboard charts this week at #4on the Top New Artist Albums Consumption, #13 on the R&B Album Sales, #22 on the Heartseekers Albums, and #40 on the Top R&B/ Hip Hop Album Sales, an impressive feat for his first full length release.
Today, the 25-year-old jazzy heartthrob releases his music video for "Old Age" featuring frequent collaborator SiR and comedian Renny. It's a cheeky narrative of Masego’s day-dreams coming true with the mother of his girlfriend, an older woman.
The lyrics, "Old age don’t mean nothing to do me/ Wise man said, age ain’t nothing but a number," rings true as reality fades out and fantasy creeps in. The older women, clad in lingerie massages Masego and serves him a meaty chicken leg amidst sultry red lighting.

'Lady Lady,' featuring collaborations with SiR, FKJ, Tiffany Gouche, Kehlani and De'Wayne Jackson, takes us through Masego’s mature coming of age with smooth and silky undertones. The album showcases his many sides: funny, flirty, mysterious and moody. Throughout the 13-track collection of songs, Masego's genre-defiant sound is on full display as he demonstrates a unique intersection of soul, trap, R&B, jazz, rap, and dance.
