Matt Holubowski has announced that his "memorable, poetic" (Montreal Gazette) second album 'Solitudes (Epilogue)' will finally be released in the US on August 31, via Audiogram. Following performances at Bonnaroo, Robert Smith's Meltdown Festival, and on the road with Ben Folds in the UK, Matt will also embark on his debut US headlining tour in September, as well as stops at Osheaga and the Winnipeg Folk Festival -- full dates below.

Matt's unmistakable voice and understated poetry -- "think Elliott Smith, Bon Iver and fellow Montrealais falsetto Patrick Watson" says The Toronto Star -- has earned him a steadfast following in his home country of Canada, with his second album 'Solitudes' debuting at #3 on the Billboard Canadian Albums Chart. His ruminations on isolation, estrangement and exile are colored by a singing voice that's capable of both beautifully pained falsetto and playful phrasing, while his bandmates tug at the seams of these orchestrations, finding new beauty in unexpected inflections and blooming atmospheres.

On the road, Matt Holubowski is joined by his invaluable musical collaborators: Stéphane Bergeron (Karkwa) on drums, Marc-Andre Landry (Chloe Lacasse) on bass, Simon Angell (Patrick Watson) on guitar and Marianne Houle (Klo Pelgag) on cello.
