FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 - Today, international recording artist Matteo Bocelli released his sophomore album, Falling in Love, via Decca Records. With this album, Matteo steps confidently into the spotlight as the next generation artist, with the heart of a poet and the reach of a global pop star. Listen to the album HERE.

The spirit of his Italian heritage runs through Bocelli’s entire album, Falling in Love, which was recorded in his hometown of Tuscany with producer Martin Terefe (Shawn Mendes, Jason Mraz) and a world-class ensemble. Falling in Love marks a new era for Matteo, blending his classical, Italian heritage with modern pop for a taste of ‘la dolce vita’ - the album is steeped in the romance and elegance only Italy can inspire. Falling In Love is an album rich in romantic yearning and vulnerability, with passionate showpieces like “Amnesia d’amore” and the cinematic, emotionally-charged pop ballad entitled “If I Can’t Have You.” Every track combines the power of classical tradition with modern storytelling.

Matteo co-wrote all of the album’s original songs, collaborating with acclaimed songwriters including Terefe, Toby Gad (Beyoncé, John Legend), Iain Archer (Snow Patrol), and Johan Carlsson (Ariana Grande). Matteo invited each musician and producer to his home to record the album, infusing the album with his love of Italy and his heritage.

This fall, Matteo will return to the US during his Falling in Love World Tour, bringing his unique blend of tradition and charm to audiences across the world. Matteo kicked off his US tour last night in New York City at The Gramercy Theatre. Matteo has collaborated with stars like Ed Sheeran and Sofia Carson, and performed for some of the biggest names across the world, including King Charles III, President Biden, The Kardashians, and even opened for Lionel Richie. Last weekend, he performed alongside his father for Pope Leo XIV in Italy.
