Matthew E. White's "Excellent" (NPR) New Album, 'Fresh Blood,' Out today On Domino

Matthew E. White's "truly wonderful and wise" (MOJO) LP 'Fresh Blood' is out today via Domino a week ahead of his March 16 national TV debut on Letterman where he'll play new single "Rock & Roll is Cold." Matthew will debut more new material on his national headlining tour including a show at Brooklyn's Baby's All Right (4/6) and LA's The Echo (3/24) and at this year's SXSW where he's confirmed performances at the Domino Records showcase, Under The Radar's day party and more (see below for full schedule).

Last week Matthew debuted 'Fresh Blood' with a 30-piece band featuring strings and horns at a sold-out BRIC Arts Center in Brooklyn. Brooklyn Vegan said, "with all those strings, songs like the sweeping 'Holy Moly' got the wall-of-sound scope they needed." WFUV will stream the entire show tonight at 9pm ET here.
