On June 25th, back-to-back CCMA Female Artist of the Year and 15x CMA Ontario winning country artist Meghan Patrick will release her third studio album ‘Heart On My Glass’ via Riser House Records. Written by Patrick with James McNair (Luke Combs, HARDY, Keith Urban) and Ben Stennis (Tim McGraw, Ronnie Dunn), “Mama Prayed For” is sung from the perspective of a rough-around-the-edges woman accepting that she might not be every mother’s dream girl for their son. Patrick reminds us that love isn’t always clean-cut and straight edge — sometimes it comes in the form of ripped jeans, tattoos and a wild attitude.

"I bet she didn't get on her knees and pray: 'Dear Heavenly Father, please send down a 5'6 blonde, whiskey drinking, tattoo lovin', dip spittin', four letter word cussin' when she speaks her mind, woman to love my son,' but here I am," says Patrick. "It turns out that the most important thing we have in common is loving him."

The song follows Patrick’s “Never Giving Up On You,” which landed on several playlists like Spotify’s Wild Country and Next From Nashville, Amazon’s Introducing Country, Pandora’s Rising Women In Country and New Country Now, Apple Music’s Today’s Country, New In Country, Country Risers and more. 

Patrick co-wrote all 10 tracks on ‘Heart On My Glass,’ an album embracing her alluring blend of southern rock and classic country. She’ll perform at Country Thunder Festival in Arizona on October 14th and at the Academy Theatre for Performing Arts in Ontario, Canada on October 25th.
