Today (5.5), 18x CMA Ontario and back-to-back CCMA Female Artist Of The Year Meghan Patrick continues her strongest year yet with her new EP ‘Greatest Show On Dirt,’ out now via Riser House Records. The six-track project finds the country spitfire embracing her most authentic self to date with Patrick co-penning every song among the collection.

Patrick enlisted a handful of Nashville’s top songwriters for ‘Greatest Show On Dirt,’ including Trannie Anderson (Reba McEntire, Lainey Wilson), Jake Mitchell (Ashley McBryde, Brantley Gilbert), Lydia Vaughn (Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean) and more. The EP features Patrick’s most vulnerable songwriting yet, as she explores themes of heartbreak, self-empowerment and more, showcasing her stylistic range.

The project’s opening track “She’s No Good For Me,” which Patrick debuted on January 20th, kicks the collection off on a soaring note as she reflects on her past self with unfiltered honesty, emerging as a stronger person. Meanwhile, the scalding breakup anthem “Ours,” finds her in a painful deja vu moment, watching a former flame relive their same memories with a new lover.

The cinematic title track is a bittersweet ode to young love, fit for a Hollywood movie. Patrick cheekily riffs on the ill-intended wishes she has for her ex on the payback-tinged “Truck Breaks Down,” and she questions her role in someone else’s story on the contemplative acoustic ballad “Who Would I Be.” The project closes on an uproarious note with “Red Roses & Red Flags,” a hard-hitting, country-rock smash that cements Patrick’s place as a true country music renegade.

Patrick will premiere a music video for "Red Roses & Red Flags" on her YouTube channel at 10 AM CT today.

Patrick announced the EP on-stage during her Grand Ole Opry debut last month, where she debuted the project’s title track along with “Red Roses & Red Flags” live for a capacity crowd. Audiences can catch these songs and other fan-favorites tomorrow (5.6) live as Patrick supports the Chicago, IL, stop of Luke Combs’ headlining tour. She’ll also play the Chevy Vibes Stage at CMA Fest and multiple festivals in her home country of Canada. For more information on Meghan Patrick, visit meghanpatrickmusic.com
