Meghan Patrick Unveils New Era With “She’s No Good For Me,” Out Now
Today (1.20), back-to-back CCMA Female Artist of the Year and 18x CMA Ontario-winning country artist Meghan Patrick ushers in an exciting new era of music with “She’s No Good For Me,” out now via Riser House Records.
Written by Patrick alongside Michael Whitworth (Lady A, Mitchell Tenpenny), Trannie Anderson (Reba McEntire, Lainey Wilson) and Jake Mitchell (Ashley McBryde, Brantley Gilbert), “She’s No Good For Me” was produced by Joey Hyde (Jake Owen, The Band CAMINO) and Aaron Eshuis (Rascal Flatts, Cole Swindell). The song finds the country spitfire shedding her old, “rough-around-the-edges” self, emerging as a stronger person. Patrick infuses rock and country influences, opening with booming drums and a piercing guitar riff, which provide the perfect soundtrack to Patrick's metamorphosis.
“I have waited a long time to put out ‘She's No Good For Me,’ and releasing it feels like a major milestone in the journey I’ve been on the last few years,” says Patrick. “It has not been an easy one, and it has required a lot of strength and dedication to growth and change. I have been bound and determined to not only find and fall in love with my best self, but find my best, most authentic self musically and dive into her unapologetically. This song is just the beginning of me introducing y’all to her… I hope you love her as much as I do.”
“She’s No Good For Me” marks Patrick’s first release of many for 2023. A stunning video for the song will premiere on Patrick’s YouTube channel at 7 PM ET / 6 PM CT later today.
