Mike Gordon (Phish), John Doe (X), Mike Einziger (Incubus) + More added To Paul Simon Carnegie Tribute, 3/31

Today Michael Dorf announced the next round of artists confirmed to pay tribute to the music of Paul Simon at Carnegie Hall on March 31: Mike Gordon (of Phish) + John Doe (of X) + Mike Einziger (Incubus) + Bob Forrest & Gibby Haynes (of Butthole Surfers) and Richard Marx. The concert marks the tenth installment of Dorf's annual series, the net proceeds of which benefit music education for underprivileged youth. The Music of Paul Simon concert in March will bring the grand total raised to over $1 million.

100% of the net proceeds from the concert are given to music education non-profits. This year's recipients include: The American Symphony Orchestra's Music Notes, Church Street School for Music and Art, Young Audiences New York, FIKS (Fixing Instruments for Kids in Schools), Little Kids Rock, and the Center for Arts Education.
