Mt. Joy Debuts Another "Vibrant, Well-Crafted" Song with NPR Music

After naming Mt. Joy one of their Favorite New Artists of 2018 last week, NPR Music has unveiled the band's latest single, "Jenny Jenkins." The song is the second look into Mt. Joy's debut, self-titled LP - out 3/2 via Dualtone - and it's a "wistful and nostalgic" example of their "vibrant, well-crafted songs that overflow with hooks, tenderness and singalong moments."

The LA-via-Philly five-piece is in the midst of another year of rapid development after 2017 saw them surpass 14 million Spotify streams and play festivals like Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Newport Folk. In just the past few weeks:

*Rolling Stone chose the stadium-sized "Silver Lining" as one of their favorite songs right now, calling the band "your new folk-rock heroes."
*NPR Music inducted the band into Slingshot, their new artist-championing platform
*Sirius' Alt Nation added "Silver Lining" to rotation
*Yahoo Music dubbed them a 2018 Artist to Watch
*WXPN honored them as January's Artist to Watch

They just kicked off a North American tour with Neko Case, and they're bracing for highly anticipated appearances at SXSW, Shaky Knees, BottleRock, and more come spring.
