Myles Erlick Announces Debut Album, Handcrafted, Coming September 4

Today (7.24), JUNO Award-winning, Nashville-based singer-songwriter and actor Myles Erlick announces his upcoming debut album, HANDCRAFTED, coming September 4th. 

Produced alongside Dann Huff and David Huff in partnership with ONErpm, the 14-track album finds the perfect sound to close out the summer, the high-energy love songs feel both fresh and nostalgic all at once. Written by Erlick, the album features his distinctive blend of country rock songwriting, live musicianship, and the thrill of a performer whose career has always moved between stage, screen, and music. 

With charisma and a knack for writing songs that feel as exhilarating as they are sincere, Erlick has a way of taking listeners on a journey, like they’re riding shotgun through life's biggest moments. HANDCRAFTED captures the beauty of love and chasing something that is bigger than yourself. Today, alongside the album announcement, he shares "Dyin' in This Living Room", an intimate country-rock ballad inspired by a simple moment at home that became unforgettable. Written after watching his girlfriend sitting in their living room, the song captures the feeling of being completely captivated by someone you love, where an ordinary night suddenly feels larger than life. With smoky vocals, warm production, and lyrics that balance romance with undeniable chemistry, “Dyin’ In This Living Room” is one of Erlick’s most intimate and captivating releases to date.

“Dyin’ In This Living Room’s” adds to early album previews “Gimme Love,” “Past Life” and “2AM Playlist.” “Gimme Love” is a high-energy, kickstart to the album, capturing the rush of instant attraction and the thrill of falling hard for someone. “Past Life” pairs heartfelt storytelling with a classic country sound, telling the story of two strangers whose immediate connection feels so natural it’s as if they’ve loved each other before, or in a past life. “2AM Playlist” reflects on the way familiar songs can take on an entire new meaning when falling so deeply in love. Canadian-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter, producer, and actor Myles Erlick has always been made for the stage. After he first broke out in the title role of Billy Elliot the Musical on Broadway, appearing in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story and most recently co-starring in the Amazon Prime series Motorheads, Erlick seamlessly transitioned from viral performer to rising recording artist. Pairing country-rock grit with modern pop polish, his growing catalog has earned major editorial support and a rapidly growing global audience along the way, with more than 3.3 million followers across social platforms.
