Today (4.7), the sci-fi drama Matter of Time, led by Canadian-born actor, singer and dancer Myles Erlick, makes its streaming debut on Prime Video, Apple TV and Google Play following a successful U.S. theatrical rollout earlier this year.
Directed by Jeremy Snead, Matter of Time premieres on digital platforms with strong audience momentum. Pegged as a “lively, genre-bending narrative debut” by Behind The Lens, it is currently holding an impressive 99% PopcornMeter score, emphasizing the connection it built during its nationwide theatrical release.
In the film, Erlick stars as Charlie Fleck, a 29-year-old aspiring video game designer whose life changes in an instant when his eccentric mentor Gibbs, portrayed by acclaimed screen veteran Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings, Stranger Things, The Goonies), gives him a mysterious device capable of stopping time.
Matter of Time has resonated with audiences for its emotional core as much as its sci-fi hook. Read more about the film on The Hollywood Reporter.
Erlick continues to build momentum across multiple mediums. He previously appeared in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story and recently co-starred in the Amazon Prime series Motorheads. He is also rapidly emerging as a country artist, with a growing catalog of original releases and viral hits gaining traction across social platforms and streaming services.
On April 3, Erlick released his newest single, “2AM Playlist,” via OneRPM x Huff Co., marking another major moment in his fast-rising music career. His breakout began with the title role in Billy Elliot the Musical on Broadway, laying the foundation for a dynamic cross-disciplinary career.

Matter of Time marks a defining step forward for Erlick as a leading man, anchoring a feature that balances genre and heart. Also starring Ali Astin and Kevin Lawson, Matter of Time was directed by Snead from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jason Baumgardner and Zach Smith.
With its streaming debut, Matter of Time extends its theatrical success into the home, offering a sci-fi-with-heart entry that highlights both its emotional impact and Erlick’s arrival as a compelling new lead.
