Naomi Raine shares episode 5 of “Journey: The Docuseries”

Vocal powerhouse Naomi Raine has been rolling out weekly episodes of  “Journey: The Docuseries,” a seven-part behind-the-scenes look at the GRAMMY, Billboard Music, Dove and Stellar Award-winning artist’s life, her process of self-discovery while creating her incredibly vulnerable solo album ‘Journey’ (7.8 via TRIBL Records) and the recording process behind the record. Yesterday, she shared part five of the series on her YouTube channel.

In episode 5, Raine and producer Aaron Robertson show the recording process of two songs from ‘Journey’ - her introspective tracks “Choosing Myself” and “Still Alone.” The two tracks detail Raine in a vulnerable moment where she puts all her energy inward out of fear of losing God in her darkest moments. In the docuseries, she discusses the healing process that came with writing ‘Journey,’ being the villain in your own story, putting others before yourself in an unhealthy way and accepting God’s love and blessings in her life.

The final two episodes of the docuseries and acoustic performance videos for each song on her recently-released ‘Journey: Acoustic Sessions’ LP (10.5) will roll out on Tues., Nov. 15 and Tues., Nov. 22.
