Natalie Imbruglia Releases Sixth Studio Album Firebird Out Now Via BMG

Today, Natalie Imbruglia has released her sixth studio album, Firebird, available now on CD (Standard & Deluxe), limited signed CD (Standard & Deluxe), limited blue Vinyl and Digitally via BMG. 

The album features previously released singles “Build It Better”, “Maybe It’s Great” & “On My Way”, alongside new tracks including the title track “Firebird” which Natalie describes as being written about how “we often try and push down our vulnerabilities and put a tough face on it but, actually when you embrace that fragile side of yourself, that's where you find true strength”, the KT Tunstall co-written “Nothing Missing” which Natalie calls a “celebration of independence”, and more.

Firebird was written in an array of international locations alongside Albert Hammond Jr of The Strokes, Romeo Stodart of The Magic Numbers, KT Tunstall, Eg White (Adele, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith), Luke Fitton (Little Mix, Girls Aloud), Fiona Bevan (One Direction, Ed Sheeran), Rachel Furner (Little Mix, Jason Derulo, Craig David) and more, touching on themes of independence, vulnerability, the juxtaposition of strength and fragility, revealing Natalie’s newfound sense of confidence. In contrast, the album was almost entirely recorded in lockdown, produced remotely by Natalie and My Riot with additional production from Albert Hammond Jr, Gus Oberg (The Strokes, Albert Hammond Jnr) and Romeo Stodart (Magic Numbers).
